Designing and creating dolls full of magic and whimsy.

I’m Rachel, designer and creator of Confetti Dolls. I’ve been sewing for as long as I can remember, making last minute outfits for myself minutes before going on family outings.

I thought I wanted to be a fashion designer so I attended fashion school as a young adult. Fashion design was not the path for me. After that I spent lots of time experimenting with many different mediums and techniques; paint, clay, wool, ceramics, sewing and needle felting. I stumbled into doll making when I found a vintage book about dolls. Since then I have been so intrigued how shape and proportions affect character design and bring a doll to life.

I want to spread the joy of doll making. I have been designing my own dolls for 8 years and have finally started compiling and publishing them as patterns for you to sew at home! You can find them on my Etsy page in PDF files. My first pattern will be available January 2021!
